IMPORTANT RACE INFO!!!

We are getting so excited for race day!!!
Thank you for joining us for the 13th annual Founders Brewing Co. Barry-Roubaix Killer Gravel Road Race.
Please take a few minutes to read through the following, as it contains all the important information you need to know for the event. We ask that you read through all of the information BEFORE emailing us to ask questions about categories, age, waves, etc... as the information is contained in this email and racer document.

IMPORTANT RACE DETAILS:

  • PLEASE review our Race Document with all the important details about the event & race day. Packet pick up, parking, event map, itinerary, awards......EVERYTHING!

  • Bib Number, Category, Wave and Start times document - ** YOUR RACE CATEGORY IS BASED ON YOUR AGE ON 12/31/22**
You age is completely based off the birthdate you enter into BikeReg. Start waves and time are also located on the back of your number plate. Make sure you start in your correct wave.

  • New start wave numbers for this year! It's pretty simple, but different from last year. Here's how it works: If you see "100" that's the single 100 mile start wave, if you see "36-4" that's start wave 4 in the 36 mile distance, etc... We'll have big signs at the start corral with not only number but color/distance.

  • Course navigation: In addition to corner marshals and sheriffs providing direction on most corners, the course is well marked with permanent signs and also race day signage coordinated with your race distance and race plate color: the 18 mile = Blue, 36 mile = Yellow & 62 mile = Red *exception 100 mile race course is not marked, you'll receive another email with GPX (the routes/files are also available on our website)*

  • Ride safely! With thousands of racers out on the course there will be a lot of passing and rider interactions. Be sure to make your presence known! If you're just cruising along, be sure to stay to the far right, so quicker riders can safely pass. Faster riders, it is your duty to safely overtake other riders, let them know you're coming up and passing. Have fun and be kind to one another out there, it's that attitude that makes gravel racing so special!

  • Race results provided by Newton Timing.
LIVE RACE RESULTS updated as you finish. Find them on the Barry-Roubaix website / results. *Please note this is all live data and the scoring team will be cleaning up results so they may continue to change. They will become official a little before awards are announced.
